Daily Maintenance Tips of Diesel Generator Set

Diesel generator set is not the daily main power supply equipment, so daily maintenance mainly includes the following aspects:
1. Regularly inspect and replace fuel filter and oil filter;
2. Regularly inspect and clean air filter, and replace in a fixed cycle (or replace according to onsite conditions and air permeability of the filter);
3. Regularly inspect and clean battery terminal to keep it clean;
4. Regularly check battery charge state to ensure a good charging effect;
5. Regularly check the state of fan belt to ensure no damage and normal tightness;
6. Regularly check the coolant liquid to meet the requirements;
7. Regularly inspect or replace the oil to ensure normal oil level;
8. Ensure normal working of preheating device in the winter to guarantee normal starting of generator set when in need;
9. Check the fuel capacity in fuel tank, keep it in full state;
10. Regularly clean dust and other dirt in the surface of generator set;
11. If it is water-cooled generator set, you need regularly check if the circulating cooling system (water pump, water volume, etc.) and the control system are normal.
